This app was developed for my accounting students to allow them to enter their accounting transactions simply as account increases or decreases and then the app would automatically indicate whether the those increases or decreases resulted in debits or credits. Or, on the other hand, if a student knew that an account was debited or credited, this app could automatically indicate whether the account increased or decreased.For those users who are visual learners, the app's border turns green when the journal entry balances and turns red when the entry is out of balance. If you are out of balance, the app allows you to quickly and easily fix it by adjusting any of the entries. If it turns green, you know you are back in balance.
