Over the last five years KFBC has won more awards for excellence from the Wyoming Association of Broadcasters (WAB) and the Associated Press (AP) than any other Wyoming radio station. These awards include AP Station of the Year (five years in a row), WAB Radio Station of the Year (twice), WAB Best News (twice), WAB Best Sports (6 of the last 10 years), AP Best Newscast (five times) and many more. KFBC is one of the few stations in America still locally owned and operated. In 2010, KFBC celebrated 70 years of continuous service to southeastern Wyoming.
