SC Shanghai

Simple City Shanghai is a light weight directory that lets you find out what's nearby, very quickly. All the listings are contained inside the app so internet connection is not needed (Google Map use does require internet however). This app was developed as an exercise to demonstrate basic map features, file download, and XML storage and parse.Source is available at github/warewoof/Permissions Requested:- Your location - used to measure relative distance to mapped locations from your location- Storage - used to store directory updates and image files- Network communication - used to download directory updates, settings offered to prevent downloading over cellular connection (auto download option is disabled by default)- Services that cost you money - used to launch the phone dialer with phone number entered (but will not automatically dial)
