Album notesTrack 1: The AwakeningThe first experience in consciousness is waking up. This track serves as an overture tothe rest of the album starting off with a more instrumental texture to set the tone for therest of the tracks.Track 2: GODIn my spiritual journey and study I’ve found it to be important for the first thing to haveon my mind after waking up is God. Track 2 is all about God. To me the proof for theexistence of God is the existence of consciousness. The universe has been molded bythe existence of consciousness since its beginning and it will continue to till its end.Track 3: [purp]Smoker’s anthemThe beat for [purp] was inspired by some music I heard late one night watching[adultswim] while one of the [adultswim] commercial bumpers was on. It had this freshol’ skool hip hop beat with some jazzy chords on top of it that I got to enjoy for onlyabout 10 seconds so I made Track 3 to reflect what I liked about that bit of music.Track 4: The Waiting RoomThe Waiting Room is a concept I picked up from watching the documentary “A BandCalled Death”. In the documentary death is described as not an end to life but abeginning to life everlasting within the divine and that our experience in this life is simply the waiting room for the true lives we are preparing for.Track 5: On Repeat“These times, they come and they go. And if you live long enough you’ll be around tosee em come again” -quote from the movie “Black Dynamite”Track 5 speaks to the day to day nature of the waiting room and how easy it is to findyourself stuck in a loop if you don’t take control of your life.Track 6: The QuestionAfter being in the waiting room long enough its natural to eventually ask “Why am I stillhere?”Track 7: Death is the Door
