About the Game:The 'Soccer Challenge' is a mobile game for the most exciting soccer tournament in the world! The game lets you compete with friends and others from all over the world at selecting which countries will advance from group play and eliminations rounds in Brazil to win the cup!You do not have to pick the same countries for each round.. Each new round of the tournament gives you a new opportunity to select which country you think will perform best that on that given day. See if you can navigate the challenge and find your way to the top of the leader board!How to Play:The goal of the game is to try and get as many points as possible over the one-month tournament in Brazil. You do this by first choosing 2 countries for each grouping that will advance out of group play. After group play, you choose the countries that will win the elimination rounds all the way to the cup! The game keeps track of all of your picks and calculates your overall score. You can play against your friends, or checkout a leader board of players from all over the world!The point values for each round increase as the tournaments advances from group play and through each of the elimination rounds. If you miss setting your picks for a round (or begin playing the game after the soccer tournament has started), the system automatically grants you the average number of points earned by all players. That way, you can stay in the game and still compete to climb the leader board!Good Luck!FAQ:1. How Do I Play?Welcome to the Soccer Challenge! The goal of the game is to try and get as many points as possible over the course of the world's soccer tournament. You do this by choosing the countries you think will advance from round to round. In group play, you choose the two countries from each group that will advance, and in elimination play you pick the country that will win each elimination match. The game keeps track of your country picks and calculates your total score for the tournament. You can play against your friends, or checkout a leaderboard of players from all over the world!2. How are points calculated?The teams you pick in group play are awarded 100 points for each win. Additionally, you get 500 points for each team you pick that advances to the next round and a bonus if you choose both teams correctly. During elimination rounds, each game is worth an increasing point number multiplier of 500. For example, in the first elimination round, games are worth 1,000 (500x2), in the next elimination round, each game is worth 2,000 (500x4) and so on. The final game for the World Cup is worth 16,000 points! Sound complicated? Just keep picking the winning countries and you'll do fine!3. How often are points updated?The game will update the points for all players immediately after the completion of each game. The global leaderboard is also regularly updated after each game so that you know exactly where you stand relative to the competition!4. What happens if I miss setting my picks for a round?No worries! For any rounds or games missed, the system automatically grants you the average number of points earned by all players for that round. That way, you can stay in the game.5. What if I start playing this game *after* the tournament has started?This is the same as missing rounds (see above). You will enter the game with the average number score across players and will still be able to compete for a spot on the leaderboard!
