Reggie Miller in Review

Coming out of UCLA, Reggie is only behind Kareem Abdul-Jabbar in points scored. Miller was selected by the Pacers with the 11th pick in the 1st round of the 1987 NBA Draft. In one game against the Charlotte Hornets, Reggie scored 57 points, his career high and the most points scored in a game in Pacer History. In a 1995 playoff against the New York Knicks, Miller scored eight points in 8.9 seconds to lead the Indiana Pacers to a win in the opening game of the Eastern Conference Semifinals. In another playoff series in 2000 against the Philadelphia 76ers Miller and teammate Jalen Rose each scored 40 points which is the current record for a pair of teammates in NBA Playoff History. Reggie retired in 2005 12th on the NBA's all-time scoring list, played in 1,389 games for the Pacers, made 2,560 3-pointers in his career, which was an NBA record at the time, only recently surpassed by Ray Allen. Miller's jersey Number 31 was retired at halftime in a ceremony, March 2006, at Conseco Fieldhouse. Reggie Miller is a 1996 Olympic Gold Medalist, 5 time NBA All-Star, and one of only five members in the 50–40–90 Club of players who shot 50% or better from the field, 40% or better from three-point range, and 90% or better from the free throw line in a single season.
