Golf Wind Calculator LTE

This free version of the Golf Wind Calculator computes an effective shot distance and an aiming target left or right that is adjusted for wind direction, wind speed, and shot distance. Simply rotate the wind direction arrow so that it points in the direction of the wind, update the wind speed and shot distance and it instantly calculates the effective shot distance (the "play it as" distance) and how far you should aim left or right. It also doesn't need Wi-Fi or for your phone to be "Data enabled".Using this app in competitions is against the rules. You can, however, print out a course map ahead of time and draw an arrow in the direction of the wind. Check the weather forecast to get the expected wind speed. Then use this app to compute the wind adjustments needed from distances that you might hit from and note these on the map for each hole. If you play in competitions that allow range finders, move this app to your memory card so that you can remove the memory card to avoid violating the rules of golf.
