Placetribe is a geosocial app which lets users create events through the city and link them to existing places, or even on their own created places. - Placetribe has a complete chat feature to help you organise with your friend in real time!. - You can visually see the location of all the members in a event. All user activity occurs in the map, which incorporates GPS to determine your location. - Privacy is key to Placetribe, you can easily set your visibility preferences to include your friends on events or no one. - Placetribe also allows you to filter and display accurately and without complicated menus the places, events and tips which are close to your interests or location. On Placetribe, you will never see anything that you don't want to see. You can change the filtering of places to show only what you want to see and only when you want to see it, from a list of categories that you can choose (that way for example if you want to see only coffee shops, nothing else will show up). - You can upload media (photos and video) to your events or places to share or save your memories for your friends to see.
