Spimap

Spam filter for IMAP email accounts! Spimap extends the rock solid and well known open source email app K9 with the following spam blocking functionality:1.) Block sender (by address, domain or personal name). Emails from blocked senders will be moved to the spam folder before they are being downloaded.2.) Block messages (by subject or body). Messages, that contain the configured keywords in the subject or in the body, will be moved to the spam folder. Blocked messages of type subject will be moved before they are being downloaded.3.) Trust sender (by address, domain or personal name). All emails from trusted senders will be delivered to the INBOXIf you used K9 before, you probably do not need to uninstall it, but don't import the settings from the K9 file to Spimap!I have written this app, because I have an email address that is published in the public internet, and so I get a lot of spam, some of which is not discovered by the excellent spam assasin app of my webserver. For instance, there is a nasty spammer, that uses the 'member@linkedin.com' as sender address and if you don't want to block all emails from linkedin members the only way to block that mail is to block the one reoccurring text in the body of the message: 'intended for Lindsay Nelson'.Other spammers, like online casinos, use a whole variety of sender addresses, but always use the same personal name, so the strategy with this spam type is to block the personal name.
