In today ’s contemporary world sometimes we come across people who take up religious practices in a different way. Such influencing people also guide others to join the same practices. They are good to connect to the other existing creation of the world , what we term as the “supernatural ” creation. It is easy in their practice to use that force which is not visible. These skilled people in their practice are known as Shamans and the phenomenon is called Shamanism. It is also called Tengerism by old Turkish and Mongolian people living in Siberia. It is not a religion , but a method. Its practice Co exists with different religions. For example , it is coexist with Buddhism in Japan. Animism means that spirits exists. It is not a religion in itself. The term is also related to those who ran into mysterious personalities who have the power to interact with such supernatural creations so that they can also contact with them and gain that majestic power. So we can say that shaman means that person who deliberately chooses that way which will lead him towards the world of supernatural creation. The basic function of shaman is to practice that process of shamanism which will help him to contact the world of dead people while living in this very existing world and to play the role of a medium between two worlds. They also heal people by using the power of the supernatural element. Shamanism not only Help people to come out of their diseases but in some parts of the world they use the Power of those non existing creatures to discover the main cause of the disease. As this Practice is not common , people are not very familiar with the practice of shamanism. Therefore , there is still not a clear version of this phenomenon. Elements of ambiguity and wrong perceptions are related to shamanism. Witch doctors or wizards usually complicate the situation while relating these terms to the phenomenon. Though it is an old practice Which has its roots in Siberia and in other continents as well where people live and Practice it. Sometimes shaman people connect to the people who know it , which means that people who know the things from the other world. Because they are involved in a process of Knowing which others are not able to understand. It is their personal experience of Contacting supernatural. So we can say that Shamanism is a method of healing people , To get information and for other purposes as well. It is important for shaman to have Results because if they do not they will be of no use in their tribe. To have some say In their tribe their practice has to be meaningful. What if we want to see a shaman ? But the question arises , how can we come to know that particular person practices Shamanism ? We should have some know how to recognize them so here it is the Answer. We should know that if that person can do unnatural things , the illusions which Mind does not accept or hard to accept. And if they have the capacity to travel to the other World. Shamanism is a way of life in which man is able of some special powers Through which he can connect himself between two worlds. He lives in this very world But can communicate to all the creation of this and other world as well.
