Loov is an app that aims to create a more compassionate Singapore. By engaging more Singaporeans to participate in voluntary work, especially the youths. The app serves as a medium for volunteering where users can sign up for events based on their interest or location. Loov also aims to build a community of volunteers through the use of social media features like Facebook. This app is also fun and unconventional, based on the different volunteering activities, users would be able to gain points, up their ranks and make more friends, creating a wider network of volunteers.The three main features are happenings, places and stories. Happenings displays and suggest events based on users characteristics and past event participations. Places shows the various organizations plotted on the map where users are able to select the point to find out more about the organization and the events available.Stories would showcase stories from volunteers or Singaporeans that would inspire voluntary work.
