A. This android application provides immediate response to women in times of emergency. Once a needy woman activates the Crime Tracker in a panic situation or reports a crime using the S4U android application, Crime Tracker application immediately searches the location of the user and sends SMS alerts to pre-selected 10 contacts from the user's phonebook and local Shiv Sena's SHAKHA-PRAMUKHS.Citizens can activate Crime Tracker using application features like:1. Mobile Shaking - User needs to shake mobile for twice within 10 seconds2. Emergency Alert Button - Emergency Alert button at the start page of the application is provided to report complaint.3. Power button Press - User need to press power button 4 times in 10 secondsB. User registration is mandatory to use application features.C. User Need to verify his/her mobile number for completion of registration.D. Once a needy citizen presses the power key 4 times or shake mobile twice, Crime Tracker immediately searches the user location and informs to the contacts added during the registration.E. Shaking the phone twice will deactivate the shaking feature with the Mode settings page opened on the screen. Users can choose to enable or disable the shaking mode.F. The victim does not even require to wait for someone to pick up the phone nor does requires to speak with anyone. Through this one step solution system our aim is to reduce the response time during emergencies.G. User can report crime by filling crime report form also.1. Victim can report criminal activity as per crime category and also has facility to upload the photographic evidence of the same.2. Victim has facility to capture photo or upload existing photo while crime reporting.H. S4U sends automatic SMS/Email alerts to contacts added during registration.I. S4U calls automatically to selected numbers.J. In case, there is no data connectivity available in the user's phone, the application sends alert SMS from the phone's SIM card. Data Connectivity is requiered for this application but if it works with no data connectivity as well.
