Oust - Compete and Excel

Oust is a fast paced quiz game that students play with your friends.Each quiz is 5 questions on a particular topic which is based on core curriculum for CET and COMEDK. Questions are based on the last 10 year question papers. You can also practice Maths concepts for grades 1-12. Questions start from simple/easy to more advanced levels as students progress and play more quizzes.Specifically for Common Entrance Tests, we have 5,000 questions based on the Karnataka CET and Medical Entrance (COMEDK). We cover Physics, Chemistry, Maths and Biology. All questions are based on previous year question papers - 2004-2014 plus more.We are also supporting Maths (Math) based on United States common core guidelines for grades 1-7 (elementary and middle school). We also have Math content for high school - grades 8-12 . We have 75,000 questions across a wide variety of topics from simple addition, subtraction, multiplication and division to advanced calculus, geometry and more.Students can invite their friends or play with a Mystery Opponent (anyone of their particular grade level from any part of the world). For every correct answer, they earn Experience Points (XP) based on time taken. A winner is decided at the end of the quiz. A student advances to the next level based on XP earned and it progressively becomes challenging.One can also send a quiz to their friends who have installed the app. They will be notified when their friend has completed the quiz. The student can also find out the correct answer at the end of the quiz which usually takes 2-5 minutes depending on the level and difficulty of the questions. Each quiz question is allotted a maximum time of 1 minute.If students are highly proficient, we encourage them to play the higher grade quizzes and bench mark their performance. Students can view where they stand on our leaderboards.For some advanced questions (including CET and COMEDK), it is expected that students will need to use pen/pencil or a calculator.We are constantly adding more content and more subjects and are working on improving the experience.
