Obesity is a major health concern in Malta, where rates among children are among the highest in the WHO Europe Region. Low rates of breastfeeding and high intake of soft drinks have been identified as contributing factors. The Ministry is developing a policy on food and nutrition and a strategy on diabetes.Our products came about reflecting a social enterprise where our bottle will interest individuals of all ages to add creativity to their daily water intake, rather than having water on its own, which at times is defeated by the sugary drinks children and individuals take. We are promoting flavoured water that is all natural and adds fruit nutrients which helps us support health concerns on our Island.
