IVY - The House

The Ivy The House is a 3D arcade game in which you can build a house. The building procedure is divided into several stages from foundation to roof.The game consists of three scenes: Gather, Store, House.On the first (Gather) scene you have to gather falling building elements into a basket. There are two ways you can bring the basket in motion: by touching it or with the trackball.You will see a column of icons in the upper right corner of the screen with numbers showing how many pieces you have gathered from each element so far.At the bottom you will have a progress bar. If this bar fills up, your gathered elements will be automatically moved to the Store, the counters will be reset to 0 and the difficulty level will increase.The higher the difficulty level, the harder it gets to gather the elements, because there will be some things complicating the gathering process.One of these is the hurricane: if you catch it, it will blow away one of each elements you have gathered.The worst that can happen is catching a bomb. This erases every single element you have collected in that difficulty level.You are able to restart a difficulty level anytime you want (the state of the house you have built so far, will remain unchanged).In the Store you will find the components needed to build your house, consisting of beams, columns, windows, doors, etc.You can see only one of these elements at a time in the center of the screen. At the bottom of the screen you will have a row of padlocks showing how many elements can be built into the house, and in what state they are.A padlock can have three states: unlocked, locked and disabled.If a padlock is disabled, it means you haven’t got enough elements. In this case you should go back to the Gather scene and collect some more.If it’s enabled, the elements can be built into the house. If you click on the element, it will be added to its place in your house.The upper right corner icon column gives you information on the so far gathered, but unused elements.Beneath the icon column, there is a Buy Ivory button, with the help of which you can get ivories (these might be needed to gain some elements)In the House scene you can see what you built so far.The game consists of three game levels. On each game level you can unlock different accessories for your house.
