Greengage Mobile

Greengage Mobile helps companies engage their employees in Corporate Responsibility (CR) and sustainability strategies. The app is used by companies to inform employees of current strategies, educate employees on different aspects of CR and sustainability, give them tips on how they can contribute to the company's CR and sustainability goals, and gather feedback on ways to improve CR and increase sustainability. The app engages users in CR and sustainability in a fun and easy way. A push notification is sent, and when a user opens the app, they see a question set up by the company. Once the user answers the question, they are presented with a useful tip on sustainability and given some context around why the question they just answered is important. They collect points for every question they answer, and are encouraged to compete with their coworkers. The frequency of push notifications and the content presented to the user of the app is controlled by a manager at the company, using the Greengage web app. The app features a chat tool, where employees can discuss CR and sustainability, and offer their ideas to their coworkers and upper management. The chat tool allows a user to post a message, and other users to reply to the message. It encourages group communication and a discussion around CR and sustainability. Users can upvote a message, and can then sort by the most recent, or most popular messages. This allows employees and managers to identify the aspects of CR and sustainability which most resonate with employees. Access to the iPhone app is restricted to employees of companies who have signed up to use Greengage. Some companies create users using the web app, and others allow their users to register via the iPhone app, as long as they use an email address linked to the company.
