SafeGuard for Android is a Lone Worker & Safe Traveller App for your Android Smartphone or Tablet. The App is designed to enhance the safety of workers at risk by providing a range of ways to raise assistance in the event of an emergency.SafeGuard includes the following features:- Red Alerts allow you to raise assistance via a dedicated key press, even when your phone is locked. Once activated a live audio link is established with a staffed 24/7 alarm monitoring service. - Man Down monitoring detects non motion through the Android phone's sensors and can automatically raise Alerts if the owner becomes incapacitated.- Amber Alerts allow you to leave short voice messages with the alarm monitoring service before you start working in an area of increased risk allowing you to give extra detail about specific risks that will be passed on to emergency services if assistance is required. - Amber Alert Timers allow you to start a countdown timer which will raise assistance if it is not cancelled.- Location Monitoring: Using GPS your location can be captured and viewed on the Insiris Mobile Web Platform and at Alarm Receiving Centres in the event of a Red Alert: allowing assistance to arrive more swiftly. Location monitoring is optional and can be switched on and off easily and at anytime.- Safety Checks can be scheduled periodically throughout the working day to allow the user to indicate that they are safe. This, in addition to the phone's signal, battery & location status can then be forwarded to colleagues who can follow up if required.- Check In & Check Out: You can check-in and out of the app to indicating you have started and stopped work, allowing you to indicate when you are at a greater level of risk and giving greater visibility on your status and wellbeing- Location Tagging allows you to Tag your location and navigate back later; useful for returning to a vehicle or car when visiting a new area.- Notify your co-workers via e-mail to Amber Alerts, Safety Checks, Check-Ins and Check Outs for free- Free Subscription to the Insiris Lone Worker Mobile Platform - a web based tool that enhances the safety and visibility of lone and vulnerable workers. It can be used to coordinate and manage large teams and individual workers. The Mobile Platform can also alert staff, co-workers, authorities and Alarm Receiving Centres to worker alarms and Red Alerts. This system empowers organisations by providing a safety oriented view of a mobile workforce in one convenient location.- Item Tagging which allows you to take pictures and video, automatically annotate them with location and optionally description information which is then uploaded to the Lone Worker Mobile Platform. This can be used to highlight locations where users need to be made aware of useful or risk related information (e.g. shops in the area with cash machines or potential accident spots near a site of work).
