Travel with the Qantas app on your next journey. You’ll get push notifications about check-in times, flight status updates and directions to the airport sent straight to your phone. You can also check-in, locate lounges and pin your upcoming flights to the start screen.

Using the Qantas app for Windows Phone you’ll be able to:

■ Receive push notifications relating to flight updates.
■ Pin flights to your start screen.
■ Get alerts advising you when to check in and when you’ll need to leave for the airport.
■ Get directions to the airport.
■ Ability to add your boarding pass to the lock screen.
■ Locate nearby lounges.
■ Check in for domestic flights.
■ Check your points balance.
■ Share your flights with friends via social media such as Facebook and Twitter.

The benefits don’t end at the airport. The app also stores your mobile boarding passes so you can save time and head straight to the gate.

It also tells you where and when to drop your bag, gate changes, information on the Qantas lounges at your current airport and even weather updates for your destination.
