It contains flash cards for the 501 most common French words used in spoken French so you can make the best use of your time in learning them. These words alone cover around three quarters of all words used in French conversation.

Each card has up to three example phrases showing how each word is used, and these phrases contain more than 600 additional words that will also come in useful.

Your progress is shown by the percentage of spoken French that you should be able to understand based on the number of words that you know.

The Search feature lets you find French or English words and phrases, listing the card defining the word(s) and cards that feature the word in their example phrases.

A clever teaching algorithm teaches new words and tests you on words you recently found difficult. Words you learn are repeated occasionally to ensure they are fixed in your memory.
