We as a team have decided to target our application to autistic kids. Our application will also help other kids with learning disabilities whether dyslexic or those with Down’s syndrome. Our application has many different areas in which we will be able to help kids learn while having fun.

Our application’s home page has different options. First of all, on our application there is Feelings, Foods, Activities, Colors and Shapes, here we aim to help kids learn all the different vocabularies which will help them talk, communicate and show emotion as a normal human being. Under each of these options, for example under the Feelings option there are different pictures showing all different type of emotions the child may express. Under every emotion there is a text that describes that emotion and when clicked the emotion can be heard. The same applies to all different options. Second of all there is the emergency option, where the parent will be able to enter beforehand an emergency number and a text message, and as such whenever the child feels like he or she is in danger or in need of help they can simply press the help message and it will be sent to the previously defined recipient with the text and the kids location identified by GPS.

Third of all there is the conversation option here the kid will be able to use all the vocabulary he or she has learnt to make their own sentences. Finally, there is the Games option where the child will be able to practice the skills that they have learnt through an enjoyable game.
