FlightDeck Freedom® (FDF) Mobile is the new standard for aviation-centric weather, flight planning and data link capability. It is the first mobile application to provide IFR departure clearances (Pre-Departure Clearances), Digital ATIS reports, North Atlantic oceanic clearances, geo-referencing for flight charts and taxiways as well as position reporting to allow worldwide flight tracking.

FDF® Mobile enables pilots to see the impact of the weather on their flights through direct access to a variety of weather products that include NEXRAD radar, visible and infrared clouds, METARS, TAFs, Winds Aloft, PIREPs, AIRMETs, SIGMETs, Area Forecasts, NOTAMs and lightning.

FDF® Mobile capabilities are designed specifically for business aviation operators with or without datalink equipped aircraft and are available to Satcom Direct® customers with a SwiftBroadband or other high-speed internet connection.
