Business Report Limited the portal for business news online acted on reader feedback earlier and investing significant resources into a weekly portal that will deliver the latest news, industry features and exclusive interviews.

It will also use its network of contacts to develop an online resource sector that will provide users with easy to access information on latest legislation, research papers and reports on encouraging growth in business.

“A lot of newspapers and magazines have been forced to ‘go digital’ due to falling revenues and the transition hasn’t been as effective as many would have hoped,” explained Jason Pitt, who bought the title in 2002.

“We’ve taken a longer-term approach and been planning the move from paper to the web for the last six months, guided primarily by a comprehensive survey that told us our readers wanted their news faster and instant.”

He went on to add “Every Thursday at 10am we will upload the new digital edition to Business Report and this will be read by more than 8,000 subscribers, all of whom will be senior managers or Directors.”

“It will be full of the latest business news online from the region and across the rest of the UK, not to mention an extensive list of bloggers who will comment on breaking issues and offer expert analysis on every sector imaginable.”
