FAA ATP Test Prep Edition 2012

Application for a comprehensive and effective preparation for your FAA knowledge examinations at IR competency level. The application allows you to run unlimited number of practice tests using the database of FAA questions. Explanations and references to specific regulations are provided for every FAA question to make the learning for you even more effective.

Test Modes

STUDY MODE
When generating a new test in STUDY mode, all the tests you have already taken are analyzed and for the new test, the questions you have not seen before or the ones you have not answered correctly in the past are selected preferentially for the test. This unique function will make sure that after some time you cover ALL questions in each subject. Before each test you can select the number of questions (maximum questions per test is 150) and set your own time limit. You also have the possibility to select only certain topics from a given subject area. During the test in STUDY mode the correct answer is displayed immediately after you select your answer choice, explanation can be displayed, test can be saved while in progress and completed at a later time at your discretion. IMPORTANT If you wish to cover the entire database of questions for each subject area in STUDY or SEQUENTIAL mode, do not delete your testing history. If you delete your completed tests, you will start from beginning.

SEQUENTIAL MODE
In SEQUENTIAL mode, you can generate the test with all questions of the specific subject or area/subarea. By default, there are no areas or subareas selected. The number of available questions will appear, when you select the areas or subareas. You might not wish to create the test from all available questions for the selected area or subarea – move the bar to select the appropriate number of questions and reduce the number.
Anyhow, this mode is the best selection for those users who want to make sure that they cover the entire set of questions from a specific subject, area/subarea in a sequential way. When starting a new test in this mode, the system will present selected number of questions from the selected subject and selected area/subarea. During the test the system behaves in the same way as in the STUDY mode = correct answer is displayed immediately after making your selection, the explanation can be displayed, test can be saved, etc... Each question will be displayed only once if it was answered correctly. Wrong answers will be retested. This can be changed in Preferences.

EXAM MODE
This mode simulates the official written exam along with the same settings and features that await you when sitting it. You are not allowed to change the pre-set number of questions nor the time limit (both these values are pre-set to comply with the parameters of the official written exam from each given subject). Exam grading and display of correct answers takes place at the end of exam. Test in exam mode can not be saved.
