Tiled Maps

Tiled Maps lets you carry the world with you, even when youre out of network range. Build your own maps using the TMS standard, or download zipped TMS files from http//mapknitter.org and load them in to Tiled Maps before you hit the road.

Tiled Maps can show you your exact location on the map and even orient the map to which ever way youre facing, just tap the tracking icon in the corner of the screen to cycle through the modes.

By far the easiest way to produce a map pack is using a 3rd party app called MapTiler* (http//www.maptiler.org). Load up to geo-referenced map and set it to Google Maps Compatible (TMS). Then zip up the output and load it on to your iOS device using iTunes and youre away laughing.
