AviMapGPS

AviMapGPS is a moving map / GPS app for aviation. Made by a pilot, for all pilots out there! Fairly priced, with NO SUBSCRIPTION FEES!

AviMapGPS uses aviation specific maps to show your position (currently sectional maps of the US only). It also allows you to plan / store / display routes, and it shows you your speed, altitude and heading while you are flying.

AviMapGPS is also a flight data recorder! It allows you to store your flight profile, export it to GE, and even share it with your friends on Facebook!

It also displays METAR/TAF weather information on map (clearly visible as colored dots), and keeps weather information updated (internet connection needed).

It allows you to cache maps for offline use, and to visualizes AF/D files for 5000+ airports in the US.

You can plan routes by inserting multiple way-points, wither by hand, or by clicking on airports in the map.
