SophistimaCalc is a programmable calculator that is fully customizable with an easy to learn BASIC-like programming language. Create and debug your own maths programs.

It allows you to create your own equations and functions. Moreover, it is not limited to constructing or executing one equation or calculation at a time. Instead, SophistimaCalc allows complex programs with many lines to be inputted, and then executed at the click of a button. You can CREATE, EDIT, SAVE and EMAIL your own creations - programs, equations and algorithms. Email them to colleagues, teachers and friends. You can even call a saved program to be executed from another program.

(a) MEM place variables that you name in memory eg mem myvar. This is similar to let or a variable declaration

(e) TEXT display text
(f) SOLVE solve a linear equation
(g) CLRSCRN clears the output screen - similar to cls
(h) CLRMEM clears all existing memory variables
(i) ASK asks for input during program execution - similar to input
(j) CALL call a saved program to be executed from the current program

(i) separate input and output windows;
(ii) allowing all equations and commands to be inputted before processing
(iii) performing all calculations set out in the input window at the press of a button
(iv) showing completed calculations in the output window
