Hot Potato: U.S. States Free

Here we have a game, inspired by hot potato, designed to help students learn about the states. In three modes of play, answer questions related to the states populations and areas (which state is bigger?), abbreviations (which state is identifiable as NY?), admission the union (which state joined first? which state joined in 1821?), and cities (which states largest city is Chicago?)

The namesake mode is "Potato Mode". In this mode, an unseen timer runs at all times. When the timer runs out, the current player is eliminated. When a user inputs an incorrect answer, 5 seconds are ticked off from the timer and the player must try again.

Other modes include Test! mode and Versus! mode. In these modes, your goal is to accumulate as many points as possible within the time limit (set by the user). Versus mode is mutliplayer (up to six players on iPhone and iPod Touch or twelve on iPad - the player with the most points wins) while Test mode is single player. Points are based on the number of tries required to answer the question.

There is also a configuration page where you can choose how long you want the game to lost (for Potato mode, this is an approximation) and what kind of questions to be asked.
