DESIGN

No other clock apps have an aesthetic like Rise Alarm because it was created only after extensive research of traditional clock design. Aside from its beauty, the clock is analog and uses the entire screen, providing a more realistic look thats also easier to see at night. The dark modern face actually has numbers that appear to glow in the dark.


SETTINGS

Why have complex AND buried settings for something as simple as creating an alarm time? With Rise Alarm, youll quickly swipe left or right to set a an alarm or nap time. And the screen brightness is similarly a quick little swipe up to adjust it (slider at the bottom).


EFFECTIVENESS

How many times do you wake up startled by annoying sounds? Or simply not wake up at all because other third-party alarm clocks never go off?

Rise Alarm sounds are designed to be fun and excite you at the start of the day. If you are a traditionalist, you can use the "Vintage" and well-known sound of classic alarm clocks. Or, you can try something more modern like "Glow," which creates an aura like that of orchestral sunrise.

Of course, sounds dont matter if a nap time or alarm doesnt go off. Thats why Rise Alarm only uses supported Apple functionality instead of hacks like many other alarm options. And because Rise Alarm uses Apples local notifications, the alarm will function even if the app is not running.
