GW Mail

GW Mail is a GroupWise email client for the iPhone. With this app you get a much better interface than Novell delivers by default through GroupWise WebAccess. This app gives you some of the enterprise features that you wouldnt get with simple POP/IMAP - like access to your Frequent Contacts and GroupWise address book.

To add an attachment, open an app that can hold files. e.g. Adobe Reader, Documents To Go, etc. Find the file you want to email and open it. Then tell the app that you want to open the file in another app. GW Mail will show up in that list of apps. The app will open and bring up a compose window. If you already are composing an email, it will add the attachment to that email without disturbing the information you have already entered.

To send a photo from Photos app, open the Photos app and find your picture. Tap on the action button and select Copy. Open GW Mail and it will prompt you to attach the photo to an email.

Notice GW Mail uses GroupWise WebAccess to get your email data. If your GroupWise administrator has not made GroupWise WebAccess available to you, GW Mail will not work for you. We support iChain and Novell Access Manager. But if your company uses a different proxy server, then GW Mail will not work. GW Mail requires an active internet connection.

Devices GW Mail works with your iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad, and requires an internet connection to work.
GroupWise GW Mail has been tested to work with GroupWise 2012, GroupWise 8, GroupWise 7 and GroupWise 6.5.
