PadLock

Convert your iPad into a compact multitouch kiosk within minutes of installing PadLock. This low cost but powerful app lets you choose the content you want your customers to see and control how they can interact with it.

Use a kiosk stand that hides the Home Button and enables it to be permanently connected to a power source.

You can create a secure kiosk browsing environment by using PadLock to lockdown to a live website or display a set of local HTML presentation files in kiosk mode.

Padlock is easy to set up via the iPad Settings icon and can be quickly configured to

- Lockdown to a live website or if you don’t have internet connectivity, drag and drop local HTML presentation files into Padlock to display them in kiosk mode.
- Enable your visitors to access linked websites by adding them to a whitelist or enter a personalised message to alert your visitors that the linked files are not allowed.
- Set a ‘back to homepage’ timeout after a period of screen inactivity or set a browsing time limit and personalise the message your visitors see when their time is up.
- Run your content in full screen mode or choose to display the browser’s forward and back page navigation arrows.
- If you would like to simply run advertising content on your secure display, switch to Digital signage mode to disable the touchscreen.
