GPS++

GPS++ tracks outdoor activities and navigates from point to point. GPS++ is a free app with additional ‘Packs’ (In-App-Purchases).

If you start GPS++ it immediately shows where you came from, where you are and where you go. GPS++ behaves like a compass look at it and see yourself and your environment. GPS++ adapts itself to you Choose the maps you like, choose the waypoints and routes you like. GPS++ has a growing library of geographical data and you can influence how this library will grow.

The Free app places you in your environment.The Tracking Pack follows you and the Navigation Pack leads you. This is the core of GPS++. Additional Packs are for instance for sailing. Combination packs combine individual packs. Combination Pack 1 combines the Tracking and Navigation Pack.

GPS++ does not require registration and does not use, share or save contact data or any other data outside the app in any way! To experience the power of GPS++ immediately it is recommended to grant access to contacts.

Free app

● Uses OpenStreetMaps (Street, Sea, Cycle, Snow) and Bing Road and Aerial Maps.
● Supporting multiple languages.
● Shows your contacts (or contact group) and current track on a map.
● Tracks created if you start moving, tracks completed if you stop moving for more then 10 minutes.
● Tracks can be shared to e-Mail, Twitter and Facebook.
● Tap on a contact to edit, call or email a contact.

Tracking Pack

● Get access to all your completed tracks.
● Mile and time stones on tracks.
● Merge, delete and export tracks.
● Upload tracks to iPhone/iPad calendar.
● Targeting closest contact.

Navigation Pack

● Download points of interest, tracks and routes or draw your own.
● Navigate using distance, duration and direction instruments.
● Import geocaches from Geocaching.com (account required).
● Enter a destination (using contacts, waypoints street and city names).
● Import and export to .kml, .loc and .gpx files using the iTunes folder.
● Automatic routing from downloaded routes and tracks and created tracks.
● Create route to waypoint by importing from OpenRouteService.org.
● Integration of MapBox maps

Combination Pack 1 combines the Tracking Pack and the Navigation Pack in one discounted purchase.

Marine Pack

● Transform waypoints into marine buoys.
● Connect buoys together.
● Alarm if approaching buoys.

Combination Pack 2 combines the Tracking, Navigation and Marine Pack in one discounted purchase.

AIS Pack
● Receiving of GPS and AIS data via Wifi.
● Received ships are placed on the map (a device transmitting this data over wifi is needed for this, see the help page on gpsplusplus.com for details).
● Recognize your friends Ships of friends are shown with their name in red if you enter the MMSI nr of the ship in the notes field in the contact app!

Combination Pack 3 combines the Tracking, Navigation, Marine and AIS Pack in one discounted purchase.

● Universal app (iPhone and iPad). non 3G iPads offer location services based on Wifi.
● Automatic caching of maps when no internet is available.
● Choice between static map (North up) and rotating map (direction up).
● Fix center point on any place on the map.
