Benignity (Card Game)

A very simple card game. Benignity is a slight variation of the card game "War" except here the "Winner Gives All". Standard and Strategic modes of play included. Made for both phones and tablets.Benignity (be·nig·ni·ty)Noun 1. Kindness or tolerance toward others. 2. An act of kindness.Benignity is a variation of the card game War.The goal of Benignity is to give away all of your cards, rather than take all of your opponent's cards like in "War". Benignity was created as an alternative to the card game "War" and as an exercise in the joys giving rather than taking.There are two modes of play: Standard and Strategical.**STANDARD MODE**Each player places the top card of his or her deck face up.Higher cards beat lower cards.The loser takes both cards and places them in his or her gift pile.Gift piles are added to deck piles when they become empty.If there is a tie a Benignity occurs.The winner of the Benignity gives away all of the cards played.A player wins when he or she has no cards left in his or her deck and gift piles. In a Benignity, the top three cards of each players' deck is placed faced down in a pile. A fourth card from the top of each deck is flipped face up. The fourth cards are compared as usual. Up to four Benignities can occur in a row. If a player has no cards left to play, the last Benignity card played is used for any additional Benignities that may occur.Auto-complete can be used in this mode.**STRATEGIC MODE**At the beginning of the game each player draws five cards from his or her deck.Each time a player plays a card from his or her hand the card is replaced by the top card of his or her deck.Each round the player chooses one card to play from his or her hand.Higher cards beat lower cards. The loser takes both cards and adds them to the bottom of his or her deck.If there is a tie a Benignity occurs.The winner of the Benignity gives away all of the cards played. A player wins when he or she has no cards left in his or her deck and hand. In a Benignity, the top three cards of each players' deck is placed faced down in a pile. Each player then chooses a fourth card from his or her respective hand to play face up. The fourth cards are compared as usual. Up to four Benignities can occur in a row. If a player has no cards left to play, the last Benignity card played is used for any additional Benignities that may occur.Auto-complete cannot be used in this mode.**BOTH**You can play either long (52 Card) or short (26 Card) games.An Action Bar is usable during each game mode with convenient commands such as Shuffle, Restart, Auto-Complete, Text Toggle, Sound Toggle and Quit.**THANK YOU**The Benignity card game is Benignity Co's first app and we apologize in advance for any difficulties or errors you may face.
